I'm feeling pretty good about this Christmas thing and the fact that it will be here in 3 days.  The halls were decked last evening (pretty much), the cookie dough is made (first step toward rolling, cutting, baking, frosting, eating), presents are purchased (but not wrapped), quilt top is nearly completed (gift to be finished post-holiday, as per usual), Christmas Eve services are planned and rehearsed (did I mention I'm a part-time associate pastor for a Presbyterian Church?), the college boy is home (yea!!) and there's a definate wintery chill in the air.  I may not be completely ready, but I'm ready enough. 

I hope that you are ready enough to receive the love, peace, joy and hope that comes your way during this festive holiday season.

I have been sneaking in a litle quilting time after hours.  Hope you and yours are staying warm.  What pattern is your favorite for a throw together?  I like the Disappearing 9 patch.  Merry Christmas  cheryl

I too am happy to report that I am ready!  Our college age daughter and her fiance also have made it home safely.  It was  a very long cross country trip for them, and it took two trips to the airport, in a snow storm,  to get them and their luggage, but that is ok - we are all safe and happy and together.

Merry Christmas to you also! I am not ready, I never am this time of year! :-). Two little kids and lots of snow this year is cutting in to my shoping time, but I will be ready when it counts.
