Active Rain Gathering Annapolis Maryland

I always love reading about the AR gatherings and I love to look at all of the photos. I think the more the merrier. So I have loaded up this one with plenty. Some of the others were there with their cameras too and will be sharing as well.

Jeff Belonger sent the message out for the local rainers to hook up and so we had a lunch at the Famous Daves in Annapolis Maryland.

This is everyone.

Then I got to meet the one and only John MacArthur, loved him. Tells it like it is, as we all should do!! I think John should use this photo I took of him for his profile picture . . . Hint, hint John.

Patricia Kennedy and Richard Iarossi were engaged in conversation with John MacArthur.

Then I became obnoxious with the camera and took photos with everyone. It was fun and I had a great time meeting some of the folks who live in your computer.

Pat, Margaret Rome's Publisher - I didn't get her card, shame on me. Super fun.

Martha Brown had lunch with us as well but left before I broke out the camera.

I had a great time. It was so much fun to meet everyone and to see that the folks I know in my computer are the same in real life.

We had a great time when we got together here in South Florida as well. Looks like you had a great time!

Wonderful! I love gathering pictures! Ours last January will long be remembered...as all fo these...pictures tell many stories :)

Karen, It was so fun. I really enjoyed today. It was my first gathering.

Sally, I have more, but thought I would be a noodge if I put too many up. Margaret and Pat took a bunch of pictures too.

Roy, Pat and Margaret are more of the queens, I just ride on their coat tails. We had fun.

Richard, The same to you. I had the best time I am so glad I got to meet everyone. It was my first gathering!!

Ann, It is so funny, I talk to Patricia Kennedy all the time online. When I first walked in I had to hug her like an old friend.

Amanda, Back at you baby. I can't wait for the day I could hang out with you and Pat Kennedy!! That would be a blast. She is talking about going to NY for Inman, whada ya say??? NYC??? FUN!!

Audrey..... it was finally great to meet you and the others.... and to even make a few more new friends. To bad that this couldn't have lasted longer. I just got back about an hour ago. In any case, thanks for taking the time to join us and thanks for the pics... and I agree, John should use that new pic for his profile. PS.. I should have my blog up tomorrow... I am just so tired...

Audrey- Heck when you told me you were going to meet Jeff you didn't mention all the others LOL :) Wonderful that you got to meet so many.....and I love looking at pictures of my computer friends LOL:) I see you also changed your profile pic...nice.

Audrey, it looks as if you had a great turn out. I hope that we can have a get together in the coming year here in Tennessee.

Kathy, It was great, just like meeting up with your old friends. Very fun.

Tim and Pam, Definitely work on a gathering, it is really worth it. Take lots of pictures for us all to see everyone.

Kate, Yes, my plan is to come to Fredericksburg. I got to sit next to Martha at lunch and talk to her, she is really nice.

Elizabeth, It was so fun, you have to do it and soon. Jeff was really great, he is really tall. It is funny how you kind of have people pictured in your mind. In the photo with Margaret he is squatting to be shorter for the picture. It was fun, I hope I get to meet you at a gathering someday!!

I've been to three Active Rain gatherings: Las Vegas, Honolulu and Orlando. I am looking forward to future gatherings. They are such a blast.

Audrey - Thanks for letting me share lunch with you. It was nice of Jeff to put this together. It is quite comfortable to sit around with other members of the AR and have a lunch punctuated with conversation.

It was even nicer that we moved the event to Dave's. I really like BBQ.

It was really nice to sit and share with some of the great bloggers that attended. I was the lucky one that got to soak it all in.

Audrey, I loved the photos---and can't even imagine how much FUN it was to meet everyone in person! Thanks for sharing something we all wish we were part of.

Looks like a great time! I have had the pleasure of attending one gathering, organizing another one, and then meeting some of my best friends from AR in Houston. Great stuff!

Audrey, It was a wonderful day. You are a whiz with that camera. Hey everyone, Audrey took all those photos. Yep... including the ones of herself. Good job!

My thanks to you for sharing the success of your local meeting. Perhaps it's time to get an East Bay group together after the first of the year...

Thanks for the photos -- I was sorry that I was unable to attend what looks like a great time, but I had a whole lot of other stuff going on yesterday and all this week. Maybe next time! You got to meet some of my favorite bloggers that I've had the good fortune of spending some time with in the past.

I just love how many friends you can make here at AR. I hope we can do a Southeast Gatering some time. I hope to meet many rainers next year at different conventions! Nice pictures.

Audrey, you are the photo pro! You got great pictures of everyone including the best one I've seen of me in years. It was delightful to meet you and the other Rainers - definitely need to make a DC-MD-VA Active Rain Gethering a regular thing.

Audrey.. I started about a week or so ago to see what interest there is in the northeast to have an ActiveRain get-together. These look like fun.. and I'd like to jump on the bandwagon of going to one.. even if it is one that I plan. Any suggestions and thoughts you can throw my way would be great.

BOO HOO! I wasn't aware of the luncheon and would have loved to be there to meet everyone in person that I read all the time. Please keep me in mind if/when everyone gets back together. I bet everyone had a GREAT time!!!!

Okay, All of you that are local, or not so local, we will plan a gathering with plenty of notice and news about it so we can get a big turn out. Sorry if some of you did not get the notice. I always say the more the merrier. Maybe we can do something mid winter when not much is going on?
