Need Help With Merry Christmas!

Okay, a good friend of mine told me that I should not use the Phase ''Merry Christmas!'' Instead I should use Happy Holidays. because in this land of many people there are many different celebration's. I am like are ''You are kidding me Right! Have we even went political correct on SANTA CLAUS? just a little warning this holiday season If I see you on the street please don't be offended if I wish you a Merry Christmas. Only a few things I still believe in... God, The U.S.A. and Christmas! I'm trying to believe in a housing market turn around in Florida, But I will have to get back to you on that one in 2009. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!

We have adopted Happy Holidays out of respect to the variety of cultures of folks that we have as clients and customers...learning to survive the market is an interesting challenge...meet it with a positive attitude and everyone wins ! HAPPY HOLIDAYS !

I believe we are so afraid of offending other cultures that we forget to embrace our own. I too have adopted "Happy Holidays" with people I do not know. But I stick with Merry Christmas with those I have a relationship with.

I thought that Christmas was an official national holiday? As such, isn't it OK to recognize that fact? Who knows?

It will always be Merry Christmas for me!! I think everyone should realize what we are celebrating - the birth of our dear Savior Jesus Christ. We are not just having "happy holidays". If it offends someone if I say Merry Christmas, so be it - I'm not offended by other's beliefs.

While I can understand your frustration in wanting to be free to say Merry Christmas to those you know celebrate Christmas, what pleasure would you get out of wishing me a Merry Christmas? I celebrate Chanukah. Would you be comfortable in my wishing you a Happy Chanukah? You probably have never experienced being in a minority situation where you are offended. It is hard to understand how we who do not celebrate Christmas feel. Please do not try to jam it down my throat. I will be wishing my friends who I know celebrate Christmas a Merry Christmas, As I said if I am unsure I will say Happy Holiday's. I would never want to offend anyone. I do not think you really want to either. Do not assume we are all Christian and celebrate as you do.To you I say Merry Christmas!! To those I am not sure what you celebrate I wish you a Happy Holiday Season!!

I will continue to use merry CHRISTmas because I believe that I am celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. I like you be live in the USA, Santa, and peace on earth good will toward men. That to me means the housing market will come back, even in Florida! lol

BAH HUMBUG to the politically correct. I say MERRY CHRISTMAS! I will throw out the occasional Happy Hannauka to my friends that Celebrate hannauka... but over all.... It is MERRY CHRISTMAS!
