I wrote my first blog not too long ago.  It was responded to by a lender who happened to like what I had written.  It is funny how life goes and the path's that it takes sometimes.  I was able to meet this man in person.  Martin Rodriguez came to my office and what was funny, was that we talked very little about business but mostly about life and our experiences.  It pans out that we are not from so different backgrounds.  It also seems that our code is hovering in the same place, attached to our soul's, immortal as we view them to be.

I was extremely pleased to have this man give me moments of his time, because time is a factor that cannot be negotiated or taken back.  Once it passes, it has gone forever.  What was learned that stands out foremost in my mind is encapsulated in one word, unselfishness.  You see when you have someone come and visit you in an Real Estate office, they mostly are trying to sell you a product.  In this case it was a lesson about character and the human element.  I learned several things about another whom I hope to meet someday soon, and I am sure it will be as reassuring.  In fact if I can walk away with one tenth of the satisfaction meeting with Jeff Turner, that I experienced by meeting with Martin Rodriguez, then it will be very memorable.

Money comes and goes, but relationships last forever.
