The Alabama Hill Neighborhoodis mainly of single family homes that were built around the  1960's and 1970's. Curved streets centered around cul-de-sacs and alley-less lots make the Alabama Hill private and sheltered from thru traffic.  The homes in the Alabama Hill Neighborhood are mainly contemporary designed to allow those views to maximize the space.  Most homes on Alabama Hill were built to around the gorgeous and outstanding city, bay and lake views.

The neighborhood backs up to Whatcom falls park, which has acre's of walking trails, ponds for fishing and Whatcom Falls.  There is plenty of trout fishing, the park holds annual trout derby for the young ones
