Some parts of Denver are seeing higher number of foreclosures than others. Foreclosed homes that are on the market, are referred to as lender owned homes or bank owned homes. These homes foreclosed and the lender bacame the owner of the home hence the name lender owned.

Buying a foreclosure can mean you got a great deal. However most if not all lender owned homes are sold as-is and repairs that may be needed have to be completed by the buyer. Many homes require some repairs, it may be just cosmetics like replacing the carpet or painting, but sometimes it may be major repairs.
Each home is different and it ultimately is a decision that you, the buyer have to make - is this a good deal for you?
