Day 15:  Someone asked me today, "How is the real estate market?"

"It's unbelievable," I replied. 

I immediately saw their eyes open.  I could tell that I took them off guard.  Then I jumped right in and said, "It's a great time to buy."  Will they use me to buy some real estate?  I don't know.  But what I did was to start a buzz.  If you're not talking it then you're not doing it.  You've got to constantly promote yourself and always work towards closing.  After all, that's how we get paid.

What we are all doing right now is starting a buzz.  Blogging on Active Rain, mailing out hand written personal notes, making phone calls to your database, being active in your communities, etc are all ways to generate a buzz that will be noticed.  You know how the old saying goes, "The sqeaky wheel gets the grease."  We are the sqeaky wheels.  If you continue to do your proactive activities you will be rewarded.

If you are at a Christmas Party; network.

If you are spending time with the family; enjoy it.

If you are ready to put more money in your pocket; do it.

This week and next week will be full of time away from the office.  Make the most of it.  Family first.  Eat, drink and be merry.  Enjoy every moment with your families and love ones.  2009 is almost here and I am going to have a great 2009.  Come with me.

Thanks for your great post. I have visited Wilmington and fell in love with the Historic District and a few restaurants--our visit was brief!
