Well I did it!  I hired a home stager / interior designer.  After reading all the comments I received on my post about home staging and interviewing a few local stagers I took the plunge.   I just figured it would be best to see what a stager could do first hand and I must say I’m impressed.

Personally I think the staging made a huge difference in the house.  It was almost like the house was naked before it was staged.

I would like to thank everybody who expressed their opinion on my previous post about home staging.  If it was not for some of those comments I would’ve never taken the plunge.

Justin:
Congrats on taking the plunge!  As a Home Stager, I would say you are getting a lot for your money.  Plus you are now selling a warm and inviting product.  So, get out there and market the He!! out of it!

Good luck with the sale.  And Merry Christmas!

Michelle -- The stager is a friend of a friend Lisa Davis.  Funny thing is that when I met her I had no idea she would turn out to be our stager.

Kent -- It's amazing how much difference some furniture can make.  Hope you're having a great holiday.

No problem my friend, it's a very good blog!

Justin, it does make a huge difference. The only thing that I do not like about this staging is in the living, the two chairs do not match the wall/room very well.

Huiting -- I never noticed that until now.  I think the stager felt that the material in the chairs would match the the little statues on the mantel.  But who knows.  Thanks for stopping by.
