While 2008 has been a year that has many turns, I know that by practicing my daily routine....success will follow.

My biggest success throughout the year has taken place in the last 24 hours.  I have been contacted by two new "potential" clients.  Both have found me through the Internet, and this has much to do with my association with Active Rain.

Active Rain has shown me the advantages of daily routine and practice.  It has opened me up to expressing my thought's and knowing where and when to go to other's for assistance and guidance.

Many have been critical of me and the time I have spent online this past year, I knew it would work and staying the course has.

I am in the process of converting these new inquires to Buyer's and know that they are only the beginning.

There was a time when I saw no benefit in "daily routine," but my husband convinced me otherwise. I now have a 5-year business plan that is broken down into five years, 60 months, 3120 weeks, and quite a few days and hours. By being persistent and consistent in practicing that daily routine, I've found in my few short years as a Realtor that I can easily compete with the older, more experienced Realtors.

It's a joy when I ask a new Client why he chose me over the more experienced Realtors he was considering because three things get commonly mentioned:

  • Knowledge of the neighborhood or condo complex
  • Enthusiasm about my work
  • Persistent and consistent communications
