Dashing Through the Snow...behind a Soviet "Jeep"

No, it's not a one-horse open sleigh but it does do 70 or so...on a straightaway.

The ubiquitous and infamous Georgian ("yogurt Georgia"-the former Soviet Republic, not "grits Georgia" here in the US) private taxi put to recreational use, or perhaps this is sledding for hire in action. If you know anything about Georgian driving we can only hope that the snow decreases, at least to some degree, the number of cars on the road, the speed at which they are driving and the adrenaline/testosterone levels of the drivers, though somehow I imagine that that is too much to hope for. In fact, the "off-duty" nature of this activity makes my son and I think that some good Georgian Chacha (moonshine) is prominantly involved, begging the question who would you rather be, the person on the sled, the driver, or the person hanging off the back tailgate?
