If one of your New Year's Resolutions is to either 1) get in shape, or 2) become more involved in your 
community, put the 2009 (4th Annual) Rotary Resolution Run on your calendar.
The event takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Addison Conference Centre and includes a 1K Family Fun Run/Walk, a 5K and a 10K Run. In addition to the runs, the celebration includes live music, entertainment, food, beverages, and prizes. The event benefits arts in Addison and the Addison Midday Rotary charities:
- Dallas Wind Symphony
- Dance Councl of Dallas
- Richardson Symphony
- Shakespeare Festival of Dallas
- WaterTower Theatre
Last year's charities and projects inluded:
- Angel Flight
- Anne Franl Elementary School Peace Garden
- Operation Veterans Support
- Rotary International projects - polio eradication, safe drinking water, wheelchair distribution
The Rotary Resolution Run is the major fund raiser of the Addison Midday Rotary Club. The club meets Tuesdays at noon at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Addison.
Registration for the Rotary Resolution Run starts at 7:00 am on race day. Run or walk to support the Arts in Addison!
