It has been a wonderful Christmas week for me here in Mesquite - My youngest surprised me by showing up last Saturdaywith her new husband to spend the whole week with us.  This is the Gingerbread House that she made for us that I want to share with of all you.  Merry Christmas to all!

It is just wonderful to have a family together at Christmas. I have easier time, as my cheldren are here, and it is a matter of an hour drive to get together.

Jon, you are a lucky man!  My daughter and her husband drove 12 hours through bad weather to get here, I didn't even know that they were on their way - I would have been worried, part of her gift to me.  Best wishes for the new year - do you have a New Year's resolution?

Tim, it has been wonderful having them here - it would have been my first without kids.

Steve - no, I can't imagine - this little one was several hours of work.

Gary - it has been a special week, Happy New Year to you.

Virgina - Wow - can i tell she is your daughter! Looks like you all had a great time. We've had a ton of family here too, and snow. Lots and lots of snow for the Lake Powell area anyway. Last night highway 89 between Page and Kanab was a white out - and today ~ sun's out - snow's mostly gone. Gotta love the high desert!
