Now and throughout the New Year!
Today is Christmas and we did have a white Christmas - having had as much snow as we have had lately that was sort of predictable except for the rain mix which just compacted it down a bit. Over one two day period we used our snow blower at home @ six times. It was hard to keep up with it. But, thank goodness for the snow blower.
It's hard to predict at this time of year as to how many phone calls come in to the office on a daily basis. Do people want to look at houses over the holidays? Well, in one three hour period at my office I got four people calling in to look at a particular house or set up a mini "tour" of several. Then again on some other times the phones seem almost to be broken. It's a true "is the cup half empty or half full" sort of thing that can change day to day.
Another thing that I finished was my goal setting for 2009. It is always a good thing to do and makes one look closely at the past year's activities which led to some positive activities and other activities which did not - and then make adjustments. I like to look at the coming year's outlook and then go to monthly goals, weekly goals and daily tasks that will help me reach my overall "goal picture".
So, although there are still a few more days left in 2008 I look forward to a good and productive 2009!
