Welcome to my new series of posts about "Why I Love Living in Orlando Area"- I moved to Florida in 1986 from Whidbey Island, WA and have never looked back.  What keeps me here? Subscribe to my blog to find out...  You might even start thinking that you want to move to Florida too.

I know it's just not fair to write about the weather at the beginning of January when much of the country is wearing jackets and thermal underwear, but there is something to be said for Florida in the wintertime, it's amazing.  Low Humidity, sunshine and 70 degree temperatures make me happy.  Winter really is a great time to get out and enjoy the great outdoors.  From fishing to hiking there are so many options for those of us living the Florida lifestyle

Debbie - this is great idea!!  I want to copy it, can i ask for your permission?  I was just commenting on Alan May's post about the Chicago weather and told him he should  move to San Antonio because we had high 70 degrees last week.  Today is a tad colder @ 56 but it's temporary. KM

Kristin - Absolutely - Please help yourself... I'm always happy to share ideas with others...

Just showed properties to a couple from "up north" she was giddy about the weather - you see it's snowing "at home".

Thank you!! I just showed also (wrote it up too! YIppEE!) and thought to myself, NO WAY I could do this in a cold state.  The wind was pretty high @ 10AM.  We just aren't used to that!

Kristin - You're welcome... I love living in Central Florida - I can't handle the cold and find that many of the folks that move to the Orlando area are "over it too".  Congratulations on your successful showing.

I was just saying something this afternoon to my friend. I was showing property in Clermont today which is unlike any part of central florida and my car said it was 77 degree wow and it's mid January.

He he.  Yes, I LOVE Florida's weather.  Born here; stayin' here.  :)  It's cool to visit other places to play in snow , experience "dry" heat like in Arizona, etc., but I am truly hooked on Florida, even the heat!

JEALOUS!!  We are getting a cold front this week.  Highs in the 20s and in the single digits at night.  I guess I could quit my complaining and go read one of Jesse Cliftons posts - 56 and dark all the time. Yikes.

You Florida people with your awesome weather and beautiful beaches make me sick.  While you're enjoying 70 degree days I'm contemplating which jacket I'm going to wear out into the snow storm tomorrow.  In all seriousness I love Florida I was there 2 years ago.  I can't wait to go back.
