I spend a lot of time on Active Rain reading, writing, learning and commenting. My husband and REALTOR partner is very aware of my blogging obsession interests but he just hasn't gotten on board and started blogging himself. But, I think I've found a way to get him moving.

He's reading blogs, often not about real estate although he's confessed he thinks Broker Bryant is one hell heck of a guy and he likes his style - and that's just from reading his posts, he's never met him. I have to say that I had the chance to meet him and he really is the same person you read on the pages of AR, and it's hard not to love him.

Cas has been reading a fly fishing blog (his obsession), he's even entered a fly tying contest and that is where your vote comes in please click the link here to vote for your favorite fly @ The Stuart Flyfishing & Photography Blog... I wanted to show him how powerful Online Social Networking really is... I'm not asking you to vote for his fly, but to take a second to vote for your favorite.

I've been reading the Stuart Fly Fishing & Photography Blog and I've been really inspired by Capt. John's writing and photos, he's simply amazing. So I'm asking for a small favor just please take a second and vote for the best fly so that I can tell my husband... "I told you so."

Debbie, when I was looking at them at first I liked the Midnight Tarpon because it was cool looking. Then I started looking with the eyes of a fish and I have to admit, Cas' Cinnamon Slider was just calling my name! He's the winner of my vote!

Debbie, my husband is a fisherman. I let him vote without telling him why. He voted for #3. Must be a "Man" thing.

Close call. Hard to choose between 3 and 4. #1 would be great on a cloudy day but who wants to fish in foul weathr? My choice is...... Drum roll, please................... 3 by a nose

Blogging works, and I did vote for #3, but only becasue I have been Fly Fishing, and this looks like it would get the most attention from those NC Mountain Trout!! Good Luck Cas, but 53% of the vote, looks like you have a Winner!

Capt. John might start to think the fix is in! I just voted - - I really did like #3 the best - - striped tail did it for me. I go lake bass fishing with my husband in the summer. I basically hang a line in the water and drink a beer while he catches fish - - it really doesn't matter to me what's on the end of the line or if I catch anything; it's just a nice way to spend part of a day. Blogging is also a nice, interesting, and in this case, fun way to spend a small part of my day. Thanks for tossing something different into the mix! Here's to "I told you so!" Cheers!
