41 Comments on Colorado Springs Z00 - Wordless Wednesday - Name This Photo?
Charles - that describes it to a 'T'. That giraffe is going to have a terrible reputation!
Danny - ...and a very experienced one!
How about "lick at me"
There is a wildlife park in Camp Verde Arizona where they take you on a bus with wildlife running free. They give everyone a vegetable when you get on the bus to feed the giraffes. The bus driver puts it in her mouth and lets the giraffe eat it out of her mouth. Then they encourage people on the bus to do so as well. I almost did however chose to just hold it out.
Johnathan - 'Hey, lick at me!' might be the new title - thanks.
I would love to take that bus, but I wouldn't be feeding the giraffes that directly. I'm a big chicken.
I got locked in the snake house at the Sacramento Zoo once, but it was only for a few minutes, I got to the back exit before they locked that door - now that was creepy!
Virginia that is too funny. I like Johnathan and the Hanson's names, too:-)
Debra - I forgot to mention to my daughter that I posted this pic - I should ask her what to name it. These name suggestions are delightful, aren't they? I think I am going with Johnathan's name. I should have had a private contest - but what would the prize be, a trip to your local zoo?
All I'm saying is that Giraffes are funny looking animals!!
Tony - they probably say the same thing about us.
Virginia- I think this is a great blog and the part you have in the title, name this blog (great)!
I would name it (French kiss anyone) and featured at: HAPPY AT ACTIVERAIN
Robert -
Thank you for the feature at your group 'Happy at Active Rain'.
I can't decide on the new name with all the suggestions, I keep saying to myself, 'why didn't I think of that one?' :)
Would you like a kiss? I promise it won't be a big, wet, sloppy one. LOL
Russel - That is what all the guys say!
long neck=long tongue , who would have guessed that?
Robert - well, my daughter didn't guess, she looked pretty surprised! LOL
HolyTongue! Where did that come from and Where is it going?
Virginia,
The commentary is as good as the photo! I wonder how the French came to be associated with kisses...
Mike in Tucson
Great photo, Virginia! I don't know what to call it, but I would like to know who the poor lady with the cracker is!
Now that's a tongue... Holy cow that is so darn funny.
Michelle - that is the question!
Mike - Now that is a good question - probably an un romantic answer, though.
Terri - That is my daughter, in scared mode.
Konnie - I laugh everytime I look at it.
Virginia, This is a WW I missed! What a fun pic! Your daughter doesn't look all that happy about it! Very cute!
Debi
Debi - she wasn't too happy that I posted the photo on my blog, either! :)
