raising maine kids, mooers realtyEver think something was missed in a childhood that causes attitudes or problems in adults?  If you were not taught the word "no" as a child, not made responsible for your actions and taught consistent healthy lessons growing up, isn't that part of why the country's in the economic state it is?  Wanting everything going, buying items you don't need like a drunken sailor, out of control spending.  Poor impulse control.  Doesn't it all go back to the basic you saw, were taught as a child?  Seeing parents save money, take care of what they have, being grateful for what they have and not always wanting more and more. Christmas within the budget...not over the top spending. Thinking of others, respecting them and their property.
