My favorite staging transformation of 2008 was the first staging job I scheduled at the beginning of 2008.
It was my favorite for several reasons but perhaps not for the reasons you may think (in terms of the before and after photos). Here are several reasons why it was my favorite:
- First staging job to kick off 2008
- It was less than 1/4 mile from my house in Plano, TX and 2 miles from my warehouse ;-)
- The seller found me online which confirmed and validated my blogging and SEO efforts from the prior year (This was a biggie for me. Thanks Active Rain!)
- The house had sat for several months with no offers prior to staging
- The house sold in less than 3 weeks after staging and minimal updates as recommended by Home Star Staging
- The seller was happy and so was her Realtor!

Bathroom Before: Dated wallpaper and personalized decor kept this bathroom from being seen as buyer ready.
Bathroom After: By simply removing the wall paper, painting the room with a fresh coat of a warm neutral paint and adding a few cabinet color blending accents, buyers could see the potential (and size) of this room.
