Unfortunately marriages seem to end too quickly now a days. Well I'm a lucky guy because my lvely bride has "stick-to-it-ness" and we've lasted 23 years great years and are going stronger now than every year before.

It was 30 years for my wife and I in Nov. Lots of times it would have been easy to give up. Fortunately for me she stuck with me. It's got to be tough being married to a Realtor. We're each others' best friend. We still love to be together. Unfortunately some think it's luck. For those of us who have made it all these years, we know better. Sometimes I look at my brother and sister, both divorced long ago and childless and feel so sad for them. They've gotten toys and had some experiences I haven't but they're missing so much. So congrats on your 23rd. Hope you have many more.
What a nice post! My husband and I are on our 23rd year, also. He had been married twice before me, but he said he wasn't divorcing again, if I wanted rid of him I'd have to chase him off with a stick. Obviously, I didn't.

Congratulations to you and your lovely bride! 23 years is a long time, and sometimes marriages can be really stressful. But you and your bride are proof that if you work at it, if you compromise and talk and share ... the gift of a life full of love is the prize.

Jim, September was 25 for me and I can honestly say my marriage is stronger now than ever. Nothing worthwhile is easy but I,m glad she put up with me all through the years.
Jim, Congatulations on 23 years. I am coming up on year number 30 in March of this year. Seems like yesterday in some ways and seems like forever in others. More than half of my life! I guess that is kind of like forever.
