Once upon a midnight workday

The house was quiet and still

A mom named Rebecca finished up her script writing

When a tweet sounded over her work hill

She followed the link

Then curious about categories

Clicked on Financial and Business Videos

I'm still trying to get a handle on blogging!  Is vlogging in your future?

Why in the world would you post THAT video on Active Rain?  Oh, i get it...it was just a tongue-in-cheek poke at things were not supposed to do as professionals!

Jenny- I am going to next year, yes ma'am.  Flip cam enabled, webcam ready.  Watch GaryV's video, no high production in that, just very real which makes it really good.

John-

Its what these consumers said online about real estate and certainly while the message shouldn't be surprising, I am saying now, with the power of video, the internet, blogging, vlogging, microblogging, you have the best chance to dispel the hype that's surrounded real estate professionals.

Level the playing field, be real, give good information, make relationships.  Now is the time and your opportunity to do so is vast.  You can be in the driver's seat.

How empowering.

The camera would be a tough one, making a blog is so impersonal compared to a video.

Rebecca--What a terrible group we are being lumped into with this video. It is eyeopening  that to get the message out that we are different, we need to fight fire with fire. So I guess I need to get my new Flip out of the box right?

Rebecca - I've gone through the site that your video came from.  There are a lot of other useful videos there and many that have applications for on-line newsletters.

Tom- Happy New Years to you.

Robert- Oh I hear you, working from home for 8 years, well, I have gotten used to the luxuries of working from home and late at night or early morning I won't be vlogging, believe that:-)

Morgan- Watch the Gary V. video that I sent to you.  Take a few more minutes and watch a couple more videos on his site, they aren't long.  I am certain you will see how transparent video can really be.

Evelyn- Let me know when you do.  I would love to see it.

Teri- You've been making a list of the movies that are demeaning to real estate agents right?  I think I remember you saying that one time.  Well with the internet, as you know, it truly levels the playing field.  So think of it as an opportunity to educate and help consumers.  Not all real estate agents are the same, but people have to experience that to believe it.

Video without all the pomp and circumstance is a good way to do that.

Rebecca--I did write a post about Hollywood's portrayal of Realtors awhile back. It isn't flattering but even if we all know an agent that fits the stereotype, it isn't the norm. You are right...The internet and video in particular gives us the opportunity to change the stereotypical REALTOR image to one a realistic one we all can be proud of!

Funny content and great software! I know we'll be having this in our web-site seamlessly but there are so many to choose from for those who can't seem to type. TokBox didn't work on my daughter's Apple laptop so that was the end of that one. Any suggestions?
