Should we be worried about this type of product?

Can you get interest in it in the aftermath of a financial melt-down?

Do you also have "stated income" product?

This sounds intriguing, but you are so far away. Are you licensed to do loans for California homes?

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for all of your comments!  Just to answer some of your questions:

Yes we do loans in all 50 states (that includes, Washington State, New York and California...haha). Customers can either log onto our website and fill in their application or we can take it by phone for them.  We are a paperless company so we can take an application and email or fax it to a customer (we can do snail mail too), they can sign it and fax it, email it or mail it right back to us!  Our underwriting turn around times are amazingly quick!  We pride ourselves on being the home of the "Rescue Loan", which means if a loan officer messes up a deal, you can give it to us and we can get it turned around quickly for you!

Regarding interest in the USDA Program, there is a TON of interest for the people who actually know about it.  It is a government program that has been around for a long time, but people don't know about it because everybody has just been doing subprime.  To find out if you are working in an area that is eligible for USDA Loans, I can absolutely help you to get that information, but if you would like to look at this and more, you can log onto this website:  www.rurdev.usda.gov/ct  This is the site for Connecticut, that is why there is the ct at the end.  You will want to replace that with your state abbreviation.  On these sites you will be able to find all kinds of information on the eligible areas, income limits, etc.  We will be more than happy to answer any questions you have also!  Please feel free to call my husband Rick at 860-922-6555.  Or you can send me an email carolyn.dionne@flagstar.com!

Unfortunately, we do not have a stated income product at this time.

Thanks again!  Let us know if you have any other questions!

Also, we just held a seminar on this loan program yesterday in Connecticut.  So if anyone in Connecticut would like a copy of our flyer that shows a map of all the eligible areas in Connecticut, just send me an email to Carolyn.Dionne@Flagstar.com and I can get that to you!
