DO NOT purchase a home in Northern Virginia unless

  • You know you will be here for more than 4 or 5 years or
  • You will return for additional tours or
  • You plan to retire here and make this your home

Consider this well -  the housing market will rebound, but, in my professional opinion, it will be a slower than normal recovery.  The "gogo" days of rapidly accelerating housing prices are not going to happen in the near term.
