What a New Year's Eve!

It's always a wonderful day when you can help a first time home buyer achieve the dream of home ownership.  It's made all the more special when it happens near the holidays.

Today I had the honor or representing one of the my most motivated first time home buyers as she signed the paperwork to purchase her new home.  It's a lovely townhouse in Woodbridge.  A rare find.  A bank owned home with new carpet, fresh paint and all the appliances!  My buyer and I didn't even notice the water view until the day of the home inspection.  Talk about a bonus!

The bank paid for her closing costs, so she only had to come out of pocket with her three percent down payment.

What an awesome way to end the year!

If you are thinking of buying your first home, there are still plenty of outstanding deals to be had in Prince William County, or the larger Northern Virginia area.  No matter the price range, we can find your home.  Give me a call and let's get started.   There are few things in life more satisfying than signing that final paperwork to purchase your very first home.

Pat:  You'd think so, but there was no mention in the listing and we were so focused on getting through the homes on our list that we indeed did miss it.  Of course, there may have still been some leaves on the trees that blocked the view.  When the trees fill in this Spring, the view will be lost.  It's a winter exclusive.

Leslie:  First time buyers are my absolute favorite.  This was such a screwy year, dealing with the banks and short sales...UGH!  But what a great way to end it.  She was so happy she cried and called me as I drove home from the settlement.

What's going on New Year's Eve for 2010? Any settlements for buyer or sellers?  Or a quiet celebration at home?  Or both?
