I thought what a great idea to highlight some of my favorite localism type posts. Localism does work...I really do know that it works.
My recent very local post about Hate was widely read by local people and it had the most public comments of any of my posts, ever. It was picked up by the The Union Leader a New Hampshire newspaper and that created recognition beyond anything I ever expected. Yesterday they did a follow up interview to be published tomorrow.
I'm always amazed by the calls and emails I get from the public after they've read my posts. They seem to like statistics the best...every month when I post them, I get contacts. I really thought the monthly stats would bore people...but apparently they want this information.
Your Hate post deserved the attention it received. You did a good thing by telling that story from your own perspective. It proves that not all of our posts need to be real estate-related. Opening our minds and our hearts on our posts shows the public who we really are.
Don...Thanks so much for your comment. Even if the Stats seem boring to you, I know that the consumers like that information. I post a lot of stats just for that reason. My Hate post was different than anything I've ever posted.
Lenn...You are the Queen of localism!!! I hope someday I be half as good as you with local posts. You're my inspiration!
Neal... Thanks for the link back. I stole this idea from you!
