Frankenmuth is a nice weekend getaway for the family. Bronner's is the World's Largest Christmas Store. While you are there make sure you stop for a chicken dinner at Zehnder's They were just building a shopping area when my mom was there a couple years ago. She said, they have some very unique stores. They have a splash village hotel and waterpark. Friends of my dad's ready had a good time there this past winter.

On your way to Frankenmuth make sure you stop at Tony's for a BTL. It is made with a pound of bacon. One will feed two or three people. The look on someone's face that orders one for the first times is priceless. For the BLT lover it is the ultimate sandwich. They have a good size menu to choose from if you are not a BTL lover.
