Poor Customer service from Craig P. Kenny & Associates - Las Vegas, Nevada
June 25th 2007 my wife was rear ended by someone while she was merging on Interstate 215 in North West Las Vegas, Nevada.
A police report was written and my wife suffered neck injuries and was quite scared after the accident. My wife called her brother and me, so we quickly drove to where the accident took place.
After the accident we contacted Craig P. Kenny & Associates in LasVegas, Nevada. Craig Kenny decided to represent us with our case.
Craig Kenny referred us to a doctor for my wife's injuries and she went for several months.
Around February of 2008, Craig Kenny's office started to contact us on the case and set up appointments.
The first week of April, my wife and I went to Myanmar (Burma) to visit her family. Before we left Craig Kenny's office set up different appointment dates to meet in his office. We mentioned to Graig Kenny's staff that we would be in Burma for one month.
Craig Kenny's office set an appointment up for the middle of May. There was a hurricane in Burma around April 21, 2008 that destroyed the country and killed over 200,000 Burmese. We missed first appointment with Craig Kenny's office.
I came back to the United States around the fourth week of May and my wife stayed because of the problems my wife's family was having after the hurricane. They had no electricity, water, etc, for months.
Craig Kenny's office contacted me when I arrived back in the US and asked when my wife would be coming back from Burma. My wife was planning to come back the first week of June, 2008. An appointment was set up by me and the office of Kenny Craig for June 5th.
My wife could not get a flight out by this time and we missed the second appointment with the office of Kenny Craig. Craig Kenny's office staff started to become rude over the telephone with me and I explained to them about the storm and my wife's family.
One more date was set up by the office of Craig Kenny and was not written down in our appointment book and we missed the third appointment. I received a call from Bradley Kenny, Craig Kenny's brother. I tried to apologize to Bradley and he became very rude over the telephone and told me that they were going to drop our case and not represent us. I pleaded with him and he hung up the telephone on me.
I called Craig Kenny and explained the situation to him and he didn't believe that Bradley would ever have spoken with me over the telephone like this. Well he did, and I thought it was terrible customer service.
Since Craig Kenny's office dropped our case, we have tried to get other attorney's to represent us and they have all turned us down. We continued to received letters from the attorney of the person that hit my wife, and they would send us copies of court case hearings after the date.
We never found anyone that would represent us and never had any court dates or times to appear in court for my wife's case.
We just received a copy of a court appearance from the defendant's Attorney that the case was dropped by the judge and my wife has to pay the defendant's Attorney's fees in the amount of 11,500.00 dollars and 3,850.00 dollars in medical bills.
My wife is blaming me for everything because I am an American and should have known everything that was going on and explained to her. And this is the reason for my blog, I did everything I could.
The way we were treated by Craig P. Kenny & Associates is inexcusable and to have our case dropped by them because Bradley Kenny was upset, let's just say I am going to be going to The (Better Business Bureau) with this one.
As for the defendant's Attorney, there will be a blog coming out next about his greed!

Wow! I'm sorry to hear about this, Robert. The attorney's office was totally wrong. I hope your wife comes to understand this wasn't your fault and I hope 2009 is better for you and your family.
