Its been a crazy winter so far.........we set all kinds of records for 'most snowfall' this year...........I know many most of you believe that We Are The ARCTIC FRONT ....sigh....that our real estate consists of selling...

and that our pets arecartoon baby polar bear cub

nevertheless...the Pacific North West......Or British Columbia's South West is really the most temperate climate in all of Canada........often comparable to San Francisco......So we'll ignore the 3 feet of snow we've had in the last 3 weeks.....

So for you- my American Friends - who are unfamiliar with HOW WE DO IT up here in the Great White Canadian North..........for your enlightenment - please check out this link......

I feel your pain Liz! I love Vancouver and if I want snow, I will drive to Whistler! I am not enjoying what these idiots are calling global warming because we are having the coldest and snowiest year on record also.

P.S. - We have a couple of your geese in our backyard, do you want them back?

Liz, That WAS funny!   I honestly don't know HOW you survive up there---I'd be hibernating right now.

Liz Liz Liz tsk tsk tsk : (

It's not nice to fool with mother nature. We both know that since the polar ice cap started thawing we've had to use more and more of that old growth forest to make our igloos. And as cuddly as a polar bear may look their diet gives them terrible gas... The Grizzly bear has much less gas since their diet consists mostly of tourists they have plucked off the cruise ships.

I loved your post : )

Hi Liz...I would love to explore much more of your province.

I had the pleasure of visiting Vancouver twice and Victoria once.  What nice places.

It's also good to know thta the police are no brighter than I am.

Liz,   Hilarious, eh?  With our old police experience, I think we've seen it all but that is great.  I remember a deep snow chase around town one night...  10 to 20 mph tops, ended up inside a house with mace, fights, bloody nose, etc.   We'd have been better just stuck.    Drunken idiot in a stolen car.

Great Canadian police chase Liz. Only in Canada...

1:19pm • #29

Liz - That gave quite the chuckle. People's perception of areas can be pretty stuck - like people thinking all of Oregon gets lots of rain - we get an average 21" of precipitation here in the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon!

Liz - Now you will have our American cousins thinking we really are off the wall ... It would not surprise me if the idea for this advertisement (the police chase) was dreamed up in California.

Very Cute and I  agree with Kathy above me.   California is so popular for crazy car chases and famous ones too!  There is a ban on them here in our County due to innocent bystanders being hit!
