Paul- Yep we have them here in Maryland too. The newest thing here are traffic circles in the middle of a long stretch of road. they are called traffic calming areas. Go figure. Sure doesnt calm me down. LOL Happy new year and hope the best 2009 has to offer comes your way.

Martha, Now I know where our city manager is from. We got these signs soon after the traffic calming areas:) They are stolen about once a month. Have a terrific New Year!

Sandy in the rest of the world they call them speed bumps. For some strange reason the city of Lakewood WA. made these signs. I would say they are stolen at least once a month on average and are hanging in people's rooms. There are six of these signs on my street which is a 1/4 mile long...
