I know all the rest of you are snoozing away, but I feel like a kid going to the candy store, a felon getting out of prison, I can't explain it.  I am just more ready for the New Year than ever before.

Not sure if there resolutions, but Ideas I have for 09

1.  Quit reading the paper, it is starting to drag me down like everyone else

2.  Take 07 and 08 and act like they never happened, I'm coming off a killer 06 and running with the bulls!!!!

3.  Really work my business plan, I finally spent (Had the time unfortunately) to develop a very nice business plan for 09 and I'm going to stick to it.

4  Brush the dust off all my old Zig Ziggler, and Brian Tracy cd's and start listening to them while I drive again.   I might even buy some new ones.  Agent Mountain has free downloads of motivational stuff that I can download to mp3.

5.  Work in some me time, I might have to get up at 4:00 every morning to do it, but I need it.

I hope you all have a wonderful New Year,

Best Wishes, Brady

I know what you mean, I am starting to get excited about the new year and what it has to offer. I have only been in the business for a year and it has been a slow year to get started.

I love Zig Ziglar, I think "better than good" is my favorite book by him. It would be nice to be that motivated all the time.

Brady:  I used to have a friend who would say... just about every day... "Wow, I just can't wait until tomorrow... cuz every day I get better looking !"  Now THAT'S what I call a positive attitude.  Take care... have a Great New Year !

Brady:  Cool Move !  Careful, though.  If you allow yourself to get carried away, you might not finish until mid-afternoon.  Or later !  LOL.

I was up at 5 am and know what you mean. Zig Zigglar, Brian Tracy, Tony Robbins, you name it. I am listening to "The Science of Getting Rich". It plays automatically when I get in my car. Just inspiring and indulging. Thank you for posting.

Happy New Year!

:) Brady, I love books as well, but sometimes our day is hectic and we just put it off. Having an audio book is a great way to take advantage of your driving time. I am in the car a lot and sometimes you just need that little push. You can get audio books at the library that you do not necessarily have to buy. The 5+ CD sets can get pricy. Hope this helps you achieve our common goal.

I really like that one best.  wiping the last 2 years clean would make a huge difference in my attitude.  I remember how I felt at the end of '06.   :-)

Hi Brady,

Happy New Year To All. I too am excited by the prospects of 2009. I don't waste time on media dirty laundry, as we all know bad news sells! 2008 was a real year of change for my business and I made it my mission to learn and become expert at negotiating Short Sales. I learned to hold my marketing and lead generation accountable. I am grateful to be at Keller Williams where others bring so much support, sharing and education to the table. I try to give back and share what I have learned and our Culture. I look forward to the New Year and know that together we can spur our industry forward!

Rita, It is wise to mingle in short sales, they will become a huge portion of the market for 09,

Best Wishes
