Wordless New Years Eve

By
Real Estate Agent with wexzilla.com

I need to first say I am not a fan of wordless Wednesdays. We are bloggers not photographers. However, that being said, I will offer my first annual worldless New Years Eve.

Most importantly, I want to wish all of you a healthy, happy, safe and prosperous New Year.

Enjoy the fireworks ! it is New Years in Sydney Harbor where I just received this photo as my friends are awaiting the greatest fireworks display on earth as they are the first to usher in 2009!!

James - I will never forget the images of Sydney Harbor, as the new millennium in 2000, began it's trek around the globe.  Since then, I've thought it would be a great thing to see.  Happy New Year to you and your family.

I'm perplexed when you say, "We are bloggers not photographers." So are you saying that photographs do not belong in blogs? That doesn't make any sense.

I enjoy learning about people, and I often encourage my Clients to be personable since they are in an industry that relies on personal relationships. I also encourage them not to ignore their past experience because that experience could connect with someone.

For example, I have a Client who got a listing because he plays the piano. I convinced him to use a quarter note in his contact information to separate the city from the state from the zip code, and to separate the office phone number from the cell phone number. Someone who attended one of his open houses say the quarter notes on his business card and started a conversation with him. He wound up helping her mom and dad, a pianist and a violist, downsize into a large townhouse. Once that was accomplished, they let him list their multi-million dollar home with the awesome ocean view. All because of five quarter notes on his business card.

I have another Client who got a listing because she was, indeed, a photographer, and you could tell it by looking at the quality of the pictures on her listing flyer.

Never underestimate what might cause someone to call you up to inquire about hiring you. Much of it is based on that first impression emotion. After that, it's up to you to close the sale.

Best wishes for health, happiness, peace, and prosperity in 2009.

Hi James, I didn't like the idea of the Wordless ones, either.  But I did one anyway, enjoyed the comments I got.  And if it is tagged properly, Google may pick it up and bring someone to my blog.  LOL

That was a lot of Words for a wordless post!  But, you get an A for effort, because as you say, you are a blogger! Thanks for visiting my blog, and have a great new year!

Uh-oh. I see Russel was here. I'm just going to say, "Best wishes for health, happiness, peace, and prosperity in 2009" and leave it at that.

Naw, I'll add that as a photographer all my life, I really enjoy seeing the personalities of the people as depicted by the pictures that move them.
