Many agents are prone to blaming their web-hosting company if their site is not producing. It’s often comforting to play the blame-game, unfortunately that’s all it is. It’s not productive, it gains you nothing (except perhaps further setup fees with your new host) and if the same mistakes are repeated your lack of results will be as well.

I agree, to a certain point. However, all web-hosting companies excel in something. If, for example, you don't like the interface for loading images on one, perhaps another will be easier. Speaking from experience, I know that Advanced Access excelled with their iCards.

Vicki,

I agree.  The Intellicards program was and is a great tool.  Not my favorite though.  The more I learned about the Quickhomes program the more impressed I was, when I became more seasoned in what is necissary for Realtors websites to produce leads, I appreciated it even more.  I like the way it incorporates your IDX feed, lead tracking (It always warms up a call when you know *exactly* what your prospect is looking for) and the fact it integrates with Intellicards as well.

Everyone enjoy your New Years!  Vicki thanks for the comment and hope 2009 is big for both of us.

I think the most important thing is having good, useful, relevant content on your website.  If people learn something from your site and it is useful to them, they will come back.  The Realtor also needs to keep in mind what they want to get from the site.  Is your goal to get referrals?  Make sure that's clear on your site!
