Hello,
We are SGM Steven Mapes and Elizabeth Mapes and are relocating to the Fort Belvior area in March. Looking for a rental to move into in March 09move into before we get there.
Steve plans to be there on a recon trip to find a home for us to be ready by End of March, He arrives in VA, on the 8th of Feb and will be there till the 20th March. He is there specifically to look for homes to move into when the family arrives in March.
This is not an easy task, as we are retiring from the Army after 20 years of service, and 4 long long deployments to IRAQ. He was wounded as well. So we are ready to get out. But the transition is a little frightening. So I am trying to do the best I can to help releive the stress he is feeling. Im hoping to find a realtor to help us in this effort to make this a smooth transition for my WOUNDED WAR VETERAN.
SGM Mapes is taking a recon trip from feb8-20 to locate a great neighborhood and home to move into in March.
Our Preferences are....3-4 bedrooms, 2 bath, garage, or car port, good respectable neighborhood, low crime rate, good schools for son, Must have never had cats in the rental history, or be cleaned so well there is just no evidence of cat dander anywhere in the home. VERY IMPORTANT for my husband and son who have extreme allergies to cats, to the point my son went into cardiac arrest after being exposed to cats last year.
My pref if avail at all. Any following options are fine, but not neccesary.
Front covered porch, back covered patio small is fine, fenced back yard, larger bath tubs, lots of sunlight through windows, pest free, good size laundry room. near a river, lake or walking trail.
Cant think of anything else right now. Some are just wishes, but over all we just want a very decent neighborhood, lowest crime rates, best schools, and good condition. Allowing our dogs, and just overall Great.
