Happy New Year to all of my friends in the Rain!

Happy 2009

I just wanted to wish all of you who have been so kind to me this year a very Happy 2009.

2008 was an amazing year for me and so much of what I have accomplished has been because of the support and assistance of so many incredible members of ActiveRain. What a journey it has been and that we are on...together!

ActiveRain is that safe, warm place I can go to get inspired, give or get support, find friends to vent to and with, laugh, cry and feel like I am putting on my favorite slippers.

Despite our financial and business challenges, I think we are entering 2009 a step ahead of so many that haven't spent the time to learn about ActiveRain, blogging and Web 2.0.

My goals for 2009 are to just keep learning, keep pushing myself even when I want to give up. I really want to Twitter more and expand my use of all of the networks and technology. For now I am focused still on fixing my outside blog but thanks to marti I couldn't be more excited about where we are headed.

Hi Diane...When we moved to Lake Anna I did not work for three years. (I actually worked at golf and that took a lot of time and effort.) Then one of my sons wanted to buy a house and thought I should help so that I would get the commission (he wanted me to add it to my IRA...he's my stockbroker) and so here I am 13 years later still working away.

I'm glad you came back to real estate. It seems to suit you so well.

You hit on something that made me think.

Despite our financial and business challenges, I think we are entering 2009 a step ahead of so many that haven't spent the time to learn about ActiveRain, blogging and Web 2.0.

I wish there were a way to compare the success of ActiveRain agents vs. agents who are not. Wouldn't that be interesting?
