It’s almost time to close the books on the year 2008

And as I look back at my first year in Active Rain, it’s been oh so great

As a newbie I knew very little what this community was all about

Not quite sure what to write, I found myself in a bit of a drought

So I began commenting and reading the posts of others

Who I now call my Active Rain family of sisters and brothers

With the support of new friends I started on my journey and began to post

Adding associates and subscribing to the bloggers who I admired most

Then one day I found Katerina Gasset, coach extraordinaire

Her informative and well written posts had such flair

She taught me about SEO strategies that I put into use

That landed me on page 1 with the most awesome Google juice

I was introduced to The Secret and the law of attraction

Now my gratitude journal and daily intentions bring me such satisfaction

There are no words to describe the feelings of emotion

I have for all of you here with your great spirit and devotion

Thanks to all of you whom I cherish and love in Active Rain

Here's to 2009 and a BIG glass of Champagne!!!
