YIPPIE! IT'S NEW YEAR'S EVE AT LAST!

By

Finally !   It's  NEW YEAR'S EVE and I am so ready to begin a NEW YEAR.  I am hoping that the new year will bring some nice things all the way around. As a Realtor I'd love the see a better market that's for sure but not sure that will happen any too soon. Just to see some positive press for a change would be a beginning some nice weather and an early spring would also help....Especially here in "The Live Free or Die State of NH" Portsmouth NH Real Estate should you care to come visit.

I do consider myself lucky indeed~when I was out tonight to get a pizza and the wind was blowing the new fallen snow all around my face and we slipped down a hill in the 20 degree temperature, I couldn't imagine me as a pioneer. Trying to keep the camp fire going, the wind blowing through the covered wagon, frozen food, sickness, freezing cold temps day after long dark day.....I never would have survived for very long.  I really was delighted to get home and turn on the lights, push up the heat and snuggle into my warm Jammie's......"be it ever so humble, there's no place like home" Thank you Lord for everything.

"Happy New Year Everyone from me to all of you and the best for the NEW YEAR!  Yippie.. bring it on."

Hi Patricia,  I wanted to pay back a visit and enjoyed this blog.  You have the same sort of weather we do here in Pa.

I have thought about the pioneers at one time or another.  How did they survive?  How would we survive today?   I think as  a people we have become spoiled and weak.  A person thinks about how tough it is when the furnace goes out on a cold day or we lose electric in a storm...how about a one room house with wood fireplace ( you need to chop up the tree)

and laterns for light.......I can't even imagine...we are blessed for the century we were born into
