So another year has gone by! Gosh it seems like it just began yesterday. So tomorrow is 2009?

Now What?

2008 in Real Estate was kinda like  a fast paced Polka Dance  ...  123 123 123 123 123 123 123 123.....  We are all out of  breath, our heads are still swimming, some of us are numb.... but most of us are still alive..... thankGod!

In regards to 2009,  I ask my self in retrospect in looking at all the change in 08' :

  • What can I do different to increase my personal and company business?
  • What can I do different to help others in crease their business?
  • And what can I do different to help my fellow man in other ways than just my professional arena ?
  •

What will you be doing different in the new year to make a difference?

I am ready to slow down and focus on what will AND CAN WORK.   To slow down to a waltz pace.

Have a very happy and prosperous 2009!

Hi Trey... I think a good waltz would do us all a world of good!  I think a lot of people will opt to sit out the next polka... they need to recover from this one!  Happy New Year!

I will be the sixth Texan to comment on this post - good company here!

Trey - Regardless of the kind of dancing that we face in 2009, I hope you and your family have a terrific year, my friend.

Trey:  I think I will start this year by cleaning my desk.  It is making me feel completely crazy.  But it's time to take a breath and reclaim my sanity.

Trey - When I was standing in the check-out line at my local grocery store the other day, I received a bit of insight from the couple waiting just behind me.  They expressed skepticism about doing business with folks they hadn't dealt with before, or weren't known by their family and friends.  Much of this fear was coming from trusting "financial gurus" with their retirement savings and having disasterous results.  What I took from this, was that as professionals, it may be very beneficial to cultivate more than ever before, our past clientele, for our new business and referrals.  Because of the current business climate, people are likely to be looking for the tried and true, and trust less those they have had no previous dealings with.
