Hello Dear Readers:

2009 brought with it a nice big change.  The North Idaho Dream Team LLC is now with SKE Realty Group LLC.  Well, actually, we own and operate SKE Realty Group LLC.

Our brokerage, GMAC Real Estate Northwest ceased doing business as of December 31st.  The Dream Team had been preparing for the potential of this happening and we were ready!

We've opened our own brokerage with Kraig Kincheloe (my brother-in-law) as our designated broker and yours truly as the Manager-Operations-Sales-Leader-Whatever-you-want-to-call-me-I-run-it-all-person-and-the-buck-stops-with-me-person.

We are very excited to do this for a multitude of reasons.  First and foremost, we can offer our clients exceptional service our way, not defined by someone unaffiliated with our business.  Secondly, we are excited to help enhance other agents businesses by equiping them to build their businesses and offer their clients exceptional service their way.

There will be a 5-7 day transition and then we will be off and running.  I am looking forward to serving my past and future clients in 2009!

Here's to 2009!!

Bryant - Yes - the news is good - it actually happened faster than we expected but we were already in the process - hence the 5-7 day delay.  You and TLW are in my prayers.

Mary - Thank you!

Christina--So many chose this year to make brokerage changes...I made a change too. Sometimes mixing things up a bit makes everything work better. Best of luck to you and your business in 2009!

Teri - Congratulations!  I am, for the most part, against agents changing companies - because I know that you take yourself with you :).  I also realize that at times company changes are needed!  In our case, we knew our last change would be to our own brokerage, but even then we were waiting for our broker to let us know when he was going to retire - instead he was forced out of business (long story) suddenly so onward we go!

Wow!  That is a big change.  Good for you for being prepared.

Congratulations to you and Kraig.  Wishing you strong production in 2009!

Hi Christina - I'm sorry for your broker to be forced into that before he was really ready, and congratulations to you all for starting 2009 as you did.  And even better that you were prepared to move forward as quickly, too.

Bruce - Thank you!

Ann - It is what it is - some agents are all up in arms - we are just going along for the ride.  At the moment, my license is considered "inactive" (during the transition) and yes, I feel NAKED and yes, for the past 3 weeks I've had ZERO showings on properties and what happens yesterday?? TWO calls for showings - go figure!  It'll all work out - our business will be up and running on Monday or Tuesday so for now, I just keep prepping things (contracts and such).  Happy New Year!
