Where To Be Buried In Wheelock Texas

By
Real Estate Agent with BCR Realtors 262359

None of us ever likes to think to long about where we would like to be buried.  After all, when we are gone we won't really care much now will we?  But alas it is a stark fact that most of us prefer to leave our physical bodies in a place that seems peaceful and secure. I have passed this nicely kept cemetery many times and for some reason it really seems quite pleasant. The Wheelock Cemetery is just a short drive from my home and is located on FM 391  between Hearne and Wheelock at the corner of ( where else?) Wheelock Cemetery Road.

Trey, Your post made me smile.  I have mentioned being from the south more than once in the past couple of days but, anyway, southerners take very seriously the subject of where they will be buried and usually expect to be buried in family cemeteries.  Is Wheelock Cemetery your family cemetery?

Trey:  You know, this at first seemed fairly creepy to write about, but it is a good localism topic.  None of us are getting out of here alive.

Trey, yep, we Sutherner's really do take where we'll be buried pretty seriously.  Good Localism Post. :)

Trey - Does this cemetary offer 100% financing with adjustable interest rates, which reset after a few months?  Better yet, do they have any plots that are "short-sales" or "repos". . .A buyer may be able to get a good deal on a little real estate there.  I understand the lots are quite small however :-)

You are so so right.  There is also a private cemetery nearby at an antique  home and it is still used occasionaly

Trey,

It does look peaceful.  My husband and I are going to be buried in the Davis Cemetary in Grapeland, Texas.  It is on a hill overlooking farm land.
