This gourmet kitchen was skillfully designed with the chef in mind. All the top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances are ready for you to create magnificent feasts for your family and friends. The granite counters and staggered Brakur cabinets give this kitchen a timeless elegance seen in only the most sought after homes. Have your friends relax in the eating area overlooking your private yard and brick paver patio.  Another amazing focal point is the built in wine rack and serving bar featuring claw feet accents.  A stone fireplace flanked by large windows complete the cozy, yet expansive family area.

47 Mitchell KitchenThe living and dining rooms are the perfect setting for those more formal entertaining occasions.  Both rooms are appointed with regal crown molding.  The foyer even boasts 12" crown molding and columns.  There are gleaming wood floors in the dining room along with detailed wall trim.

Five bedroom homes are rare in Wheaton; only 11% of two-story homes sold last year had five bedrooms.  47 Mitchell not only has five bedrooms, but they are all on the 2nd floor.  The expansive master features a cathedral ceiling, plenty of light and a large, spa like master bath.  There is a double vanity, whirlpool tub and separate shower.  The large walk-in-closet is 15' x 7'.

The other four bedrooms are also large and feature walk-in closets and plantation blinds.  2 of the bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bath while the other one is adjacent to the hall bath.

47 MitchellThe 2nd floor landing acts as a loft with built-in wood bookshelves and desk.  Doing laundry, although never pleasant, will be made easier because of the 2nd floor location.  It is on the same level as the bedrooms and includes extra storage cabinets, a closet, sink and natural light from the large window overlooking the back yard.

Two large, unique recreation areas make up this airy lower level.  The basement was professionally finished in 2004.  There is an extra room that could be used as a 6th guest bedroom or exercise room.  The lower level includes a full bath making this suite ideal for out-of-town guests.  In addition to the finished areas, there is a wine cellar and    ample hidden storage.

47 Mitchell The roomy 14' x 6' mud room is adjacent the kitchen with garage and backyard egress.  Big enough for a wall full of book bags, coats and boots, with ample storage cabinets, closets and a second wash sink.

A professionally landscaped yard will welcome your guests as the walk up to your covered porch on a brick paver path.  The back yard boasts another brick paver patio, screened in porch, water feature and fire pit to warm friends during those outdoor evening parties.

Offered at $899,900.

Ashley - it is a really beautiful home.  I will be adding a YouTube slide show soon.  I wanted to make sure I had a sunny day picture to use instead of the overcast one.

Melissa - Any time, just let me know!  I worked in St. Charles out of college and I just love it.  It has the same feel as Wheaton, but with an incredible river walk.
