Getting Started with Social Media

So it’s the beginning of 2009, and we have an opportunity to take marketing to places it has never been. Social Media is one of the most exciting ways to do that. I’ve been having a great time experimenting with becoming involved with networks of my peers and the people I want to reach. Here are some of my favorites.

Myspace, Facebook and opening a Google account are great places to start!

True, they're awesome places to be. In this post though I wanted to point out not only places where you can reach a good amount of people, but places where you could learn more about the art of social networking from people who are implimenting it. The sites listed are good examples of where you can reach not only prospects, but contemporaries.

Congratulations for your move. The thing I find out most important is to do the things you like to do vs. the things someone tells you to do.

Expermient a little to find and develop your style.
