I have been thinking about doing this for some time now and after the new year, I thought that why not ring in 2009 with a positive attitude. This is a simple process. I am going to write a little blurb each and every morning and then post it hoping to fish out something positive that happened to people the prior day. It can be something simple or something complex. The only key is that it has to be construde as having a positive effect on you. I get it started.

Yesterday, I made my first sell of 2009 for R & D Art.

Tony, no matter how small or large the victory, they all count.

I have been doing positive affirmations for over 3 years now consistently. Say them in the present tense as if they already happened. It works. For many years I stopped on and off and finally I have been saying them twice a day, when I wake up and right before I go to sleep. Be consistent and it will work for you. Also, remember to give thanks for everything you have in your life.

Thanks for the blog. It is truly important to see the positive in everything! I am a glass half full kind of gal. This past year has really been a very hard one for me. My daughter was in a car accident. She is 16 and was riding with a friend. She still has a long way to go in her recovery but is doing better every single day!!!! through this process I keep saying she will be fine and I am soooo thankful we have a recovery process to go through. See I could have had to plan a funeral for my precious daughter. Instead I have a a daughter who don't have all the skills she once did but will gain them again. Instead of having a head injury that will heal it could have been brain damage. Those are two totally different things THANK GOD!!!! I have had several people say you are so positive all the time. Well....... not true ..... I am just one thankful momma. oh by the way my 17 year old was also in the car and had no injuries. yep, my glass is more than half full

I love it! Great idea. I own a gratitude journal where I write what I am grateful for. It helps me appreciate life in so many levels.

Thank you and Happy New Year

Sherie, that in itself is inspirational enough for the rest of us to hold our heads high and be thankful for what we have. Thanks for sharing.

Elayna, I agree.

Kris, many do it already.

Ok...what happened to me yesterday? Well, my sister and I expressed our love and admiration for each other. We do it all the time through actions and gestures, but it's nice to hear it every once in a while.

I look forward to everyone's answers...
