Commerce by Mike Wagner

It seems like yesterday that I filled up the tank at $1.35 per gallon.

And I showed a four bedroom two bath home near the downtown and a gorgeous golf course for $59k.

It may seem like yesterday because....

It was.

My goodness... I would have never expected such a thing.

But it's also wonderul... there are so many bargains out there for those who have been hoping to own a home.

Or to do a fix and flip.

Or become an investor.

I wonder how much longer this will last because... well... it just feels so odd... it can't last, right?

This is modern commerce. Retro pricing in a modern economy.

There are ways to make this work to your favor.

I'll be covering this in greater detail in this new year.

Chuck, I wonder myself how long this will go on.  And I believe change will take time but it will happen.  I'm looking forward to this year because we may have faced the worst....time will tell.

Carole-I get the same feeling. My last quarter was much better than my previous three and there appears to be a more solidly positive uptick in the number of transactions in my neck of the woods.

Tom- I think so too... the market is opening up to many of the people with whom I work the most- first time home buyers and investors.
