Are
you guilty? I know that I have been. You've been busy. Nose to the
grindstone, procrastinating on writing because there are so many more
important things to do or you haven't been in the mood. Whichever the
case, writing a bog is the last item on your priority list.
And
then you realize - dang, it's crunch time. Use 'em or loose 'em.
So,
you whip it out! The computer keyboard that is, and start putting
together a plethora of blogs that really suck and blow at the same
time. You know the one's I mean, your reader clicks on them and your
hair gets pulled toward the monitor. Might want to book mark some of
these if you need your desk cleaned or hair dried in a jiff. We have
all been guilty of these. Last of the week, 5 post to go so you put out
some stuff just to keep from loosing the points.
I
posted these purposefully as examples of some of the crap that I see
posted out there in the Internet. Don't your readers deserve more than
just mindless blather or is it just about the points? I hope not...
Gosh, I honestly never considered writing a post that wasn't thoughtful and from my heart. What are you guys doing????? (Is THAT how everyone keeps racking up a gazillion points?) dumasses...I guess everyone can try anything...I'm sure everyone is just trying to figure out how to be their best. Happy New Year of best blogging!
Michael...I am sure I have put some "less than stellar" blogs out there, like everyone else. I agree with Richard...sometimes you meant well, but it didn't come off the best. At least we keep trying, right?
Practice makes perfect or something anyway. I read on one of the "bad blogs" of yours that someone asked about the half face thing. I have also been wondering what the other side of people's faces look like. What is up with that. I guess it got my attention so that may be the point.
I relate to your post. I try to have certain minimum standards. Sometimes I am glad to be passed a meme because at least I then know what my next blog will be.
Michael I am guilty as charged. No excueses, however, we all have set backs and I don't try to make it habit. Sometimes posting some crap helps me realize or weed through some other crap so I can get to the good stuff. I mostly try to post and even comment from the heart. It is not easy to remain inspired all the time.
Oh, I think we're probably all guilty of that from time to time. We're busy or distracted and things just don't turn out quite right. I would like to think all but the serial screw ups are forgiven for the occasional blogging blunder.
I totally agree. I just read a blog about blogging here is just about racking up points and blathering on about nothing just to increase your point total. Other people read your blogs and the public too, everything you write gives an impression of who you are as a real estate professional and yes they do deserve better. Thanks!!
Don't candy coat it..how do you feel about some blogs? There is time wasted sorting thru but when you hit upon someone that consistentlywrites helpful, thoughtful blogs, they stand out!
I know what you mean...I haven't felt like posting for a while now. I try to post only when I have something to say that I think is interesting or poignant.

Michael...
Oh-oh, I may be guilty as charged ... but sometimes the plan is good but the execution is poor!

Michael,
As the saying goes, "one man's trash is another man's treasure."
Rich
Keep up the blogs and those points!
Michael, neither one of your examples is anywhere near as bad as some I have seen:)
I have posted blogs that were of interest to me and not one person commented on them. Oh well good thing I don't write for a living.

I think we are all guilty at times. It's the individual mood of the day. Thanks for sharing.

Nancy... Thought that that would get your attention...
Jesse... I have made several social blunders myself - kinda like leaving your pants unzipped...
