Here is a template to help everyone reach and achieve their goals/resolutions for 2009 along with my responses to each(don't laugh).
- Learn a new skill: This year my goal is to pick up a paint brush and see how creative I can get. Photos to follow.
- Have fitness goals: Maria and I both plan to turn our garage into an at home gym and have a healthy competition.
- Travel someplace you've never been before: While I have no current plans to travel this year, I will have to see what I can do to find somewhere to visit.
- Support a charity: We support numerous charities during the year, both with our time and our money. With the dollar getting smaller and smaller, we get smarter. Throughout the year we constantly keep out eyes out for bargain and purchase toys to donate at Christmas time. This past year we were able to donate more than 40 toys due to smart shopping.
- Buy stocks: Yes this is a little crazy, but I feel that it is time to do more. I think this could be fun.
- Be green(er): I plan to focus on each room in our home to find more ways to be greener.
- Plant something - with your own hands:Every year we add something to our yard and this year will be now exception. This year we have a new Japanese Maple slated to grace our front yard. It is a shame we live in the woods and no one will see this little beauty.
