My business plan this year includes actually posting on my blogs!

In 2008 I had a plan that I would post and author something every week. That worked for a week. But in 2009 I'm going to make it a part of my BUSINESS plan. What's the difference? Simple.

We plan to go to Space Mountain and to hike up to the top of Pike's Peak. We plan on getting the laundry done and making it to that family dinner on time. But our business plan calls for Action items to be completed or our goals and objectives will not be met.

For me this difference is clear (while for my fair reader, maybe not so much...clarity of thought is in the new plan as well) and identifiable. So while I "planned" on blogging more and posting more, it wasn't in my 2008 business plan. Well all that is about to change! I'm starting off January right and posting to all my sites and updating all my connections (see that linkedIn link on the right? you should click it!) and making sure that I'm connected throughout all my sites and information flows freely.

First I have to finish my business plan though. Should have done that in December. I'm on it.

Very true! And it doesn't have to take days either. I've found that in just a few hours I can get my plan for the entire year completed. Then it becomes something that simply needs to be reviewed and updated. I look at it monthly to make sure I'm hitting my goals.
