Sounds like a win-win Teri.  Recycling to reduce waste and to benefit the library.  You just can't beat that, can you?

What an excellent program. I think all municipalities should be as conscientious.

It sounds like Mesa is on the cutting edge in recycling and the idea of supporting the library through it is just genius!  I wish it was so easy here.  Mesa residents are lucky!

That's pretty cool, Teri. We don't get the option of special containers in Sacramento for remodeling projects. Drats. But we do have one free day a year when the city picks up old appliances, furniture and what-have-you.

Jesse, isn't it great? I love that they do this - and they provide such great information on the internet. ;-)

Ellie, we are not - or at least Phoenix is - the fifth largest metropolitan area I'm told. We need to be on the ball. And yes, I agree that other municipalities need to jump on board. ;-)

Lisa, I think we're on the cutting edge of everything - almost. ;-)

Elizabeth, welcome home. It is cool...and we have green, black and blue barrels for pick up each week. ;-)
