There is one tool I find really fun to use and necessary in doing more complex photography and animation; Since purchasing it I just can't live without it. Adobe Fireworks is well worth the money and the effort it took to learn the advanced features of this photo editor.

Here was the boring shot I took of the Turkey a couple of days ago.

After working with it in Fireworks, it now looks very close to what I was seeing in our woods.

Tommorrow: Animation with Fireworks.

The change is subtle but you can clearly see the differences in the turkey.

Karen:  Yes this is a great place to live, and everyday is a new experience.  Hope you stop by to see more of my photos....I'm like a child with a new toy now, with this new Single Lens Reflector Camera I got for Christmas.

Hugs...Wishing you the best in 2009.

Gene...subtle changes really make a difference...everyday I find new ways to use Fireworks, it is an awesome program to experiment with.  Hopefully, later today I will be posting some animation done with this program.

Stay Tuned!  It should be a fun learning experience.

Interesting. I do like that second picture better. I know my marketing guru has all sorts of Adobe products on the computer, but I dare not go over there to look around and risk the wrath of the marketing guru entering my life if I mess something up.

Shawn, is Adobe Fireworks just a plug in, to Photoshop and does it work with Elements?

Shawn, that second pic brings it to life.  Is Fireworks easier to use than Photoshop?

6:25am • #10

Heather and Kevin:  Fireworks and Photoshop have much of the same capabilities:  yes fireworks is easier to use if you know how to use it...and you can animate...it has photoshop built into the program.    Kevin...No, it is not a plug in...it is an entire application on it's own,  Elements I haven't experimented with????  Don't Know!!
