Today was great, 8 lead's in one day, and I wasn't even doing desk duty! Positivity is success!

Today was fantastic. I was at the office working and waiting for a customer and the phone was ringing off the hook.

People were perusing the window and actually filling out the new customer profiles. Some were volunteering that they had cash!

At one point in time, I HAD THREE CUSTOMERS THAT I WAS TALKING TO AT ONCE OUTSIDE OUR OFFICE!

AMAZING.

If was a great day and it was just by circumstance. People are over the Holidays and they are ready for a new year.

Ah-ha. It is buying season in Florida. Great for you, and hopefully for me. I have plans to list my home in Vero Beach within the next month.

I've been swamped too! I guess people are going to the warmer climates to visit friends, then decide to look for property. and ultimately buy. Great to hear that you are doing well in your market.

Congratulations. Same happened to me today. I heard from every buyer I am working with. They really want to buy now.

I was in FT Lauderdale 2 weeks ago, my daughter lives there. Miami/dade got hit hard with foreclosures, but what an opportunity to help the investor/buyers.

Glad to hear that things are picking up or at least that people are out there perusing around. Maybe a sign of things to come? I hope you enjoyed the holidays and got some family time in.

I'm 1 for 1 on appointments this year, and got a lead in the lockerroom at a hockey game today... however.. you kicked my ...... =)

We are seeing the trend for sure -- we have been showing properties every day for awhile over the holidays and have calls for listings and more buyers coming. It's great.

We have been slammed with several feet of snow...very very slow here. but I am believeing 2009 will be MINE!

Indeed. There appears to be an "awaking" on the part of the consumer.

Let's hope it's a trend and not a passing fancy.

With crazy interest rates and a new year full of resolutions, it's a great time to buy. Good luck to you with all those lovely leads.

Yes sometimes that momentum just starts. I wrote a contract on New Year's day and I see movement finally.

Wow, that sounds fabulous. It is not that way in my world yet; but I'm hopeful. I did have a buyer referred to me Friday and we are going out tomorrow so I'm thrilled to have one buyer right now! I need to start pounding the pavement here. I think its great Florida is picking up....I read one blog where the appraised value a year ago was like $430,000 and it sold for $155,000!

I know, really. We have ton's of Canadians (who we love) looking in South Florida right now...even though their dollar is worth less than ours...

However, I was told today...it's up to 85 cents on the dollar.

Personally, I haven't seen it but am glad others are.

Last Thursday I got a referral and 3 new leads so I think we're starting to see more movement as well.

I just heard the same information from another realtor here in soiuth Florida...keeping my fingers crossed.

Things have really picked up here in Maryland as well, at least for me! This past week was crazy, I actually turned away two listings (they had no more equity and I don't do short sales)!

Wow! Eight leads in one day is AWESOME! My year was off to a good start, too, but can't compare to your one day! Congrats.
