The waters that just waiting for you to catch a fish in such as:
10. Hugo Reservoir. Hugo Lake for sand bass, crappie, and catfish. Hugo Lake has 8000 acres of open water and 5000 acres of uncleared waters. Information was obtained from the Tulsa Corp of Engineers site here.
11. Kiamichi Park where you can bring your horse camping with you.
12. Archery Hunting Area at Hugo Lake.
13. The Kiamichi River on which Hugo Lake was formed. Kiamichi means “waterbird”. River is popular for canoeing.
14. Lake Raymond Gary, where you can own the shoreline. Privately owned land surrounds the lake. Waterfront properties available to live on or as a second residence.
15. Raymond Gary Lake is also an excellent fishing lake, bass, crappie, and catfish.

38. Hugo Lake - The lake area offers excellent hunting opportunities with over 25,000 acres of land available to the hunter. Bow hunting is permitted in and around most of the park areas. Kiamichi Park contains an archery practice range and is now a 3,000-acre Quality Deer Management Area. This makes Hugo Lake a one of a kind area, where quality archery hunting is available. Stay at Salt Creek Camp and walk to hunting area wihin yards of your cabin.
Places to eat in Choctaw County:
39. Angie’s Diner – Good Food and plenty of it. I usually order the chef salad and bring half of it home for another meal.
40. CEDAR SHED – Barbecue, but not just barbecue – salads, sandwiches, etc. Good food.
41. FECO’S – Line up and tell them what you want – cafeteria style dining. Good food.
42. The Iron Horse Restaurant – Fort Towson, Oklahoma in the Depot Building, can’t miss it. Good Food.
43. In a hurry and going through Fort Towson? Stop at the Corner Store – Best Deli around. They will fix you a salad also or a fresh “made to order” hamburger with home fries.
