Take a Deep Breath - Relax

By
Real Estate Agent with Robert Defalco Realty

In every office there are people that always seem to be killing themselves, running around, stressing about their business - always trying to be the best, the top producer, on the most websites, with the most listings.  They probably do end up doing well - I guess its called motivation.  But are they enjoying what they're doing or is it just a competetiveness that becomes an obsession.  My approach is work hard. but enjoy life! Take a deep breath and relax - people feed on that calmness - they like dealing with agents that are not so stressed.  Open up that postive attitude and let the good karma come to you!

Hi Gaye, I feel better already...must be I was holding my breath! ;-)

A relaxed approach to business means you can see clearly and frantic means missing what might be in front of you.  Nice post...Have a Great 2009!

Hi Gaye, I too have slowed down and am enjoying life much more this way.  I didn't realize so many things I had been missing.

I am still searching for that balance. In truth I don't know how to work calmly. It's probably just a personality thing.

Great post. If you have a passion for what you do you seem to be a bit more relaxed. It took me years to slow down a tiny bit. Guess what? I do more business because of it.

Good topic Gaye. I used to work like there was no tomorrow. But, now I've learned to keep a balance with my work life and personal life. Much better way to be.

I needed to hear that. I've reached the point where I'm  torn between finishing my dinner or taking that phone call and the  potential appointment. You're right-we need to RELAX! Great advice, Gaye, at the right time, thanks.......

And you know something? As the saying goes, you do" practice what you preach" because I've NEVER seen you look anything but calm and in control, never stressed. That's a great accomplishment.
